Brissie to the Bay Bike Ride
At Medland Dental we jump at any chance to support Multiple Sclerosis. We recently took part in MS Awareness Month and soon we will be cycling in the MS Brissie to the Bay Bike ride. We hold this cause very close to our hearts because one of our own was diagnosed with MS six years ago. Since then the sisters of four staff members have also been diagnosed. In the Community: Homeless Connect
A few weeks ago, one of Medland Dental’s Oral Health Therapists, Eliza Burroughs, had the opportunity to volunteer at Homeless Connect held at the RNA showgrounds. Homeless Connect is a one day event that allows businesses, health care organisations and community groups to come together and offer free services to the homeless or those at risk. MS Brissie to the Bay Bike Ride 2014
Once again this year, Medland Dental Centre will be riding to help fight MS Our team of 8 riders, led by Dr Paddison will be participing in the MS Enerflex Brissie to the Bay Bike Ride on Sunday 22 June 2014. Our team is made up of friends, family, patients of Medland Dental Centre and staff members Dr James Yang, and Erica Graham. What’s On? Christmas Holidays 2013
These Christmas school holidays Brisbane will come alive with plenty of great activities for children and families to enjoy. Hocus Pocus in the Park 2013
This year Medland Dental Centre and took part in ‘Hocus Pocus in the Park’, a Halloween community event organised by Bulimba Business. Held in the busy Oxford Memorial Park on Oxford Street Bulimba, the free event came to fruition last year to make Halloween safer and more enjoyable for local children. MDC participates in MS Moonlight Walk 2013
The fight against multiple sclerosis (MS) is a very personal one here at Medland Dental Centre. Our Kelly, who many of you will know, was diagnosed with MS six years ago after the birth of her second daughter. On 18 October 2013, Medland Dental Centre once again joined with the MS Society to participate in the MS Moonlight Walk. Insight Into: The Solomon Islands
Recently Medland Dental Centre was very pleased to be able to help out some of our patients, the Firrell family, to assist with the oral health of children in a small community within the Solomon Islands – Mavo Village.Mavo Village is located on Ramata Island, which is on the western end of the beautiful Marovo Lagoon, which is the world's largest island fringed lagoon. Kiss Goodbye to MS!
May is MS (Multiple Sclerosis) Awareness Month. The fight against MS is a very personal one for us at MDC. Our beloved Kelly, whom many of you will know, was diagnosed with MS in 2008 after the birth of her second daughter. Kelly manages to maintain an active life, but there are many who aren’t as lucky. For Kelly, and others living with MS, Medland Dental Centre has chosen MS Australia as our dedicated charity and we actively support MS Australia campaigns throughout the year.
