The fight against multiple sclerosis (MS) is a very personal one here at Medland Dental Centre. Our Kelly, who many of you will know, was diagnosed with MS six years ago after the birth of her second daughter.
On 18 October 2013, Medland Dental Centre once again joined with the MS Society to participate in the MS Moonlight Walk. This walk raises funds for those living with MS and for research to find a cure. This year our team consisted of 42 staff, family and friends who completed the 5km or 10km trail.
The weather did not look very promising on the day, but in a stroke of luck the rain stopped as the walk began and it turned out to be a beautiful evening walking along Southbank and the Brisbane River.
All in all the team raised $6, 804, bringing our total raised for the MS Society to more than $36, 000 to date.
