What you can expect
at your first appointment
When you arrive at Medland, our friendly Front Office Coordinators will welcome you with a warm smile and complimentary refreshments. After showing you through the facilities we invite you to complete your medical and dental history in the comfort of one of our patient lounges.
At Medland, your dentist will take the time to get to know you. We’ll ask you about the dental care you’ve received in the past – what’s worked for you and what hasn’t. We will take the time to understand any concerns you have about being at the dentist and anything that may make you feel anxious at the dentist. We’ll also ask you about any concerns you may have about your teeth, gums or smile and if there are any aspects you’d like to improve. We will take the time to understand your preferences for your health care, and how proactive or planned, or how reactive you prefer to be.
Your options, how they may differ and everything that you should know about these options before you make a decision are then carefully explained. You will be cared for as an individual and experience personalised, comprehensive care that is of the highest quality in a gentle and supportive environment.
