Providing our patients with outstanding treatment and gentle care in our special Medland way has always been our utmost priority. We are fortunate at Medland Dental to be able to offer a wide range of services not often available in general practice, which allows our patients to have their more complex treatments completed in comfortable, familiar surroundings.
Dr Edward Houston, our in-house Endodontist, has undertaken special post-graduate training in root canal therapy and is a registered dental specialist. Unlike at many specialist practices, patients who see Dr Houston are able to have nitrous oxide (happy gas) throughout their treatment, and enjoy the familiar Medland Dental care and service.
Dr James Yang completed a two year Masters of Clinical Dentistry in the field of Implant Dentistry in 2016 and has been achieving wonderful results placing dental implants for our patients. This treatment previously required referral to a specialist at other locations. Whilst referral to a specialist may still be indicated in complex cases, for many situations our patients can have their implants placed at Medland Dental with the convenience of attending one location and whilst being cared for in that special Medland way. They will also have the benefits of Dr Yang and our onsite laboratory working closely together and collaborating over their care.
